TabTrade — The Short Version
TabTrade opened in March 2026. Trading platform based in Saint Lucia, regulated by Saint Lucia's FSRA. The guy behind it is Benjamin Boulter. Prior to TabTrade, he was in leadership at BlackBull Markets, the well-known broker.
The BlackBull connection matters. It says the founder has actually done this before. Does not guarantee anything. It is better than a random name you cannot trace.
They launched with Equinix data centre access in London. Same infrastructure institutional desks use. Usually a new brokerage starts with a white-label MT4 setup. These guys went the other way. Unusual for a new broker.
Market coverage: FX, stock indices, metals, oil, energies, softs, stock CFDs, cryptocurrencies, exchange-traded funds. A wide spread. For something that launched in March 2026, that coverage is solid.
What You Trade On
Available: MetaTrader 5, cTrader, and a WebTrader. Two major platforms from the same login. Many only give you one or the other. Getting both matters. Use whichever you prefer.
MT5 is what most people know. Complete charts, Expert Advisors, tons of scripts and indicators. If you know a MetaQuotes platform previously, you know exactly what you are getting.
cTrader is the more modern one. Better DOM. Faster charting. cBot support. Many people find it more natural once they try it.
FIX API is there for automated strategies but needs the VIP tier ($25,000 to open). TradingView is reportedly on the roadmap. That would make the platform set when it arrives.
Costs
Three levels: Standard, Edge, VIP.
Standard account. Spreads from 1.0 pips. No commission. Easy to track. $0 to start. Suits beginners.
Edge account. True raw pricing from 0.0 pips on average. Commission of $3.50 per side. All-in: raw spread plus $7 per full lot. On EUR/USD, the actual interbank spread is often a fraction of a pip. So your all-in cost can sit below 0.5 pips. That is cheap for a broker with no minimum deposit. Most platforms that have spreads this tight want $500 or more to open. This broker does not.
VIP. $25,000 deposit required. FIX API, execution under 20ms, custom pricing. Not relevant to most retail traders. Skip it unless you run serious volume.
How Fast Are the Fills
The speed is where Tab Trade separates from most new launches. Equinix LD4/LD5. Sub-30ms execution on Edge. Under 20ms on VIP. Those are not marketing fluff. Most retail brokers operate at hundreds of milliseconds.
Should you care? For short-term trading, it does. The gap between a 30ms fill and a 200ms fill is profit or loss on tight trades. If you swing trade, it matters less. What matters is the setup is serious. That signals what kind of broker this is.
Pair that infrastructure with 0.0 pip spreads and $7 round-turn and the overall offering is strong. Few brokers at this price point have infrastructure at this level.
Safety
This is the thing that requires honesty. Tab Trade is licensed by Saint Lucia's FSRA. That is tier-3. No FCA. No investor compensation scheme. If that makes you uncomfortable, this broker is not for you. Plenty of tier-1 alternatives out there.
However. The person running it built his career at BlackBull Markets, a tier-1 regulated broker. The Equinix infrastructure is expensive. Fly-by-night platforms do not invest in Equinix connectivity. None of this replace tier-1 regulation. It does factor into your decision.
The trade-off: you give up tier-1 protection. What you get instead: high leverage, raw pricing from 0.0 pips, no minimum deposit, fast fills. Whether that is worth it depends on you.
Welcome Offer
TabTrade has a welcome bonus of up to two thousand dollars. Typical sign-up bonus. You deposit, they add bonus funds. Usual conditions attached: trading volume requirements before the bonus becomes withdrawable. Check the terms before you commit.
