TabTrade — The Short Version
TabTrade.com opened in Q1 2026. CFD broker based in Saint Lucia, regulated by the FSRA. The person who started it is Benjamin Boulter. Previously, he was a senior exec at BlackBull Markets, a New Zealand-regulated broker.
That last detail matters. It suggests the person running this is not figuring it out from scratch. Does not mean TabTrade is the same as BlackBull. Still preferable to someone with no brokerage experience.
The broker opened with Equinix data centre access in London. Same infrastructure prime brokers run on. The typical new launch focuses on ads and sign-up promos. These guys went the other way. Unusual for a new broker.
Market coverage: forex, indices, gold, silver, oil, energies, softs, shares, crypto, exchange-traded funds. A wide spread. For a platform that launched in March 2026, that coverage is broad.
What You Trade On
They offer: MetaTrader 5, cTrader by Spotware, and a WebTrader. Two major platforms from a single account. Many only give you one or the other. Getting both matters. Use whichever you prefer.
MT5 is the industry standard. Full charting, automated trading, massive community. If you have used MT4 or MT5 before, there are no surprises.
cTrader by Spotware is the more modern one. Better depth of market. Faster charting. Built-in algo trading. Plenty of traders like it better than MT5 after comparing.
Direct FIX connectivity is there for automated strategies but requires the VIP account ($25k minimum). TradingView is reportedly coming. That would be a good addition once it is live.
Accounts and Pricing
Three tiers: Standard, Edge, VIP.
Standard. 1.0 pip spreads. No commission. Simple. $0 to start. Suits beginners.
Edge account. True raw pricing from 0.0 pips on average. Flat commission of $3.50 per side. Total cost: spread plus $7 per lot round-turn. On liquid pairs, the raw spread is frequently a fraction of a pip. So your real cost sometimes sits below 0.5 pips. That is hard to beat for a broker with $0 to start. Most brokers that run raw pricing at this level require a minimum deposit. TabTrade requires zero deposit.
VIP. $25k to open. FIX API, faster fills, negotiated fees. Not for typical accounts. Ignore this one unless you trade institutionally.
Infrastructure
This is the area where this broker separates from most new launches. Equinix servers in London. Sub-30ms execution on Edge. Below 20ms on VIP. Those are proper execution targets. The average platform quote hundreds of milliseconds.
Should you care? If you trade small timeframes, yes. The gap between a 30ms fill and a 200ms fill is profit or loss on tight trades. If you trade higher timeframes, you will not notice. The point is the infrastructure is there. That is what kind of broker this is.
Pair those fill times with raw spreads at $3.50 per side and the overall offering is strong. Not many platforms with no minimum deposit run Equinix connectivity.
The FSRA Question
Now, the detail that requires honesty. Tab Trade is regulated by Saint Lucia's FSRA. That is offshore. No FCA. No government-backed safety net. If operating without FCA or ASIC oversight is a dealbreaker, this broker is not for you. Plenty of FCA-regulated options out there.
But. The founder came from BlackBull Markets, a proper broker. The server placement costs real money. Scam brokers do not bother with tier-1 data centre access. None of this replace tier-1 regulation. But factor into your decision.
The trade-off: no FCA or ASIC safety net. In exchange: high leverage, raw pricing from 0.0 pips, $0 to start, Equinix execution. Whether this deal makes sense comes down to your priorities.
Welcome Offer
TabTrade offers a welcome bonus of up to $2,000. Typical sign-up bonus. You deposit, they top up your balance. The normal fine print: turnover conditions before you can withdraw the bonus. Read the conditions before funding.
