TabTrade — The Short Version
TabTrade.com launched in March 2026. Trading platform registered in Saint Lucia, under the FSRA. The guy behind it is Benjamin Boulter. Previously, he was on the executive team at BlackBull Markets, the New Zealand-regulated broker.
His background tells you something. It means the person running this is not figuring it out from scratch. That is not a guarantee. Still more reassuring than a random name you cannot trace.
They launched with Equinix LD4/LD5 connectivity. Same infrastructure institutional desks use. The typical new launch focuses on ads and sign-up promos. These guys did the opposite. Not the typical playbook.
Market coverage: FX, indices, metals, oil, energies, softs, stock CFDs, cryptocurrencies, ETFs. Over 1,000 instruments. For a broker this new, the breadth is solid.
Platforms
You get: MetaTrader 5, cTrader by Spotware, and a browser platform. Two major platforms from the same login. Most brokers pick one platform. Getting both is useful. Use whichever you prefer.
MetaTrader 5 is the default. Complete charts, automated trading, tons of scripts and indicators. If you know MetaTrader before, it is familiar territory.
cTrader is the cleaner option. Better DOM. More responsive charts. Built-in algo trading. Plenty of traders find it more natural after using both.
FIX API is there for automated strategies but requires the VIP tier ($25,000 to open). TradingView charting is apparently coming. That should round things out when it lands.
Costs
Three account types: Standard, Edge, VIP.
Standard account. Spreads from 1.0 pips. Commission-free. Simple. $0 to start. Suits anyone who does not want to think about commission.
Edge. Interbank-style spreads from 0.0 pips average. Flat commission of $3.50 per side. What you actually pay: raw spread plus $7 per full lot. On EUR/USD, the raw spread is frequently under 0.2 pips. So your all-in cost can sit under half a pip. That is cheap for an offshore broker. Most brokers that run raw pricing at this level require a minimum deposit. TabTrade has no minimum.
VIP account. $25,000 minimum. FIX API, execution under 20ms, tailored rates. Not relevant to most retail traders. Ignore this one unless you trade institutionally.
Infrastructure
The speed is where TabTrade actually does something different. Equinix LD4/LD5. Execution below 30 milliseconds on Edge. Sub-20ms on VIP. Those are institutional numbers. Most retail brokers quote a much wider range.
Should you care? If you scalp, it does. The difference between fast execution and sluggish execution is catching the move or missing it. If you trade higher timeframes, you probably will not feel it. What matters is they invested in proper execution. That says what kind of broker this is.
Combine that execution speed with the Edge account pricing and the overall offering makes sense. Few brokers in this bracket have infrastructure at this level.
Regulation
Now, the thing you need to be straight about. The broker is licensed by the FSRA in Saint Lucia. That is outside tier-1 jurisdiction. No FCA. No fund protection scheme. If the lack of tier-1 regulation is a problem for you, this broker is not for you. Plenty of FCA-regulated options out there.
But. The person running it built his career at BlackBull Markets, a tier-1 regulated broker. The server placement is expensive. Dodgy operations do not bother with tier-1 data centre access. That does not guarantee anything. It does inform how you think about it.
The trade-off: no FCA or ASIC safety net. In exchange: 1:1000 leverage, cheap spreads, $0 to start, fast fills. Whether that makes sense comes down to your priorities.
Welcome Offer
TabTrade offers a welcome bonus of up to $2,000. Usual sign-up bonus. You put money in, the broker add bonus funds. Usual conditions attached: turnover conditions before bonus funds can be taken out. Review the fine print before funding.
